Child Friendly Version of Child Protection Proceedure
We are a safeguarding school.
If you have any concerns about a child please see Mrs. Ling (the Senior Designated Person) or Mr. Robinson (the Alternate Designated Person) who will be available during school hours for staff and parents to discuss any safeguarding concerns.
The DSLs can be contacted out of school hours by staff by using the contact numbers available to all staff on our Management Information System (MIS), Arbor.
If parents have safeguarding concerns out of school hours or during holiday periods then we advise:

-
In an emergency with immediate risk to a child, call the police on 999;
-
Alternatively, if you have an immediate safeguarding concern you can contact Customer First (Social Services) on 0808 800 4005 (free from landlines and most mobiles);
-
If you are worried about a child you can contact the NSPCC at 0808 800 5000 or make an online referral;
Or contact the Emergency Duty Service in Suffolk on 0808 800 4005

An application form, recording all employment history (including any gaps in employment);

Personal details recorded;
-
2 suitable references (one being the most recent employer, where relevant);
-
The signing of the Disqualification by Association Childcare Act 2006.
