The Curriculum at Crawford's Primary School.
Our vision statement is
Following Jesus, together we care, inspire and achieve.
Important elements of this for our curriculum are;
- children who feel safe and happy learn better
- children who are inspired will learn well.
At Crawford's we have high expectations for all our pupils.
The vision for our curriculum is that it will provide strong foundational roots from which all the children will flourish and grow.
Through out our curriculum we use aspirational schemes of learning using excellent published schemes written by experts to support teacher subject knowledge and workload and offer a broad and balanced curriculum.

We use a scaffolded approach to teaching so that all children are set up ready to achieve.
We use a practical approach where children get to experience the concrete before moving to forms that are more abstract.
