SEVERE WEATHER PROCEDURES
Should the school need to close due to severe weather overnight the decision will be made by 7.00 am.
We will endeavour to keep school open but should we need to close, it will be for the safety of the pupils and staff.

Information on school closures can be found on the Suffolk School Closure website, Click here.
Announcements will be made on:
BBC RADIO SUFFOLK 95.5/104.6 FM www.bbc.co.uk/suffolk
HEART FM 97.1/96.4 FM www.heart.co.uk/suffolk

We will also send an email message to all parents/carers on Arbor and post on our X feed.
In the event of conditions deteriorating rapidly during the day and the possible need to transport children early from school:

An email will be sent on Arbor – Parents will be contacted and encouraged to collect their children at their earliest convenience.

Please advise the school of any emergency closure arrangements you have in place for your child to either go home with another parent or to walk to another family member / relative or family friend and please ensure your child is aware of these arrangements. We recommend adding these friends onto your Arbor account for ease of collection procedures.

Children will be dismissed at normal school time unless collected earlier.
