CRAWFORD'S COGS

Our Crawford’s Cogs are the lifelong learning skills that we believe children should be equipped with by the time they leave our school. They are skills which will enable them to think independently and creatively in order to be able to tackle the tasks presented to them in all stages of their educational journey. They were created and agreed by a range of stakeholders working across the school including teachers, learning support assistants, governors and parents and they underpin our whole school curriculum. Within each half term, we choose 1 or 2 cogs to focus on in order to ensure that they become embedded in learning and to give opportunities for the children to develop their skills as they move through the school.
